NEW DISMISSAL LOCATIONS

NEW DISMISSAL LOCATIONS

· Effective September 2009, all Kindergarten classes will dismiss from west Radnor Road (near 189th street). The Pre-K class will dismiss directly from the new classroom (room 101) by the small school yard. These are permanent dismissal locations.
· All Middle School students continue to dismiss from the east Radnor Road exit (near 190th street).

Temporary Dismissal Locations
Due to construction, the small school yard will be closed for much of the 2009-2010 school year. Therefore, the dismissal locations will be as follows:

Grades 1 & 4 dismisses from the gymnasium (where the monkey bars are). Parents/Guardians should greet students adjacent to this area and have the playground clear, so that classes can dismiss smoothly.

Grades 2 -3 dismisses from the cafeteria and convenes in the area where the benches are (lower playground). Parents/Guardians should greet students adjacent to this area and have the bench area clear, so that classes can dismiss smoothly.

Grade 5 dismisses from Avon Road. Parents/Guardians should wait for students by the Avon Road exit.

As always, it is important to update your child’s blue emergency card regularly so that school staff members are aware of who can pick your child up from school daily.

Thank you for your cooperation.
